HAUD, the industry leader in spam filtering and revenue assurance for mobile network operators, has appointed Marko Skomersic as its technical solutions specialist.

Marko joins HAUD’s commercial team at a time of considerable growth for the company. He will work closely with customers and partners to consult on and implement the latest mobile technologies, bridging the divide between business goals and technical innovation.

A member of numerous GSMA working groups championing diverse topics including fraud, interconnectivity, billing and roaming; he is actively involved in shaping the evolving global telecommunications landscape. In addition to this, he has contributed to and co-authored guidelines and operational handbooks for the GSMA and other industry publications.

Marko has previously worked at communications firm, Infobip, and Iskon, Croatia’s leading internet service provider. He is a graduate of the University of Zagreb, where he received a master’s degree in electrical engineering.

With more than ten years’ experience in the communications industry, he was an early innovator of VoIP technologies, helping to implement some of the first enterprise VoIP networks.
