HAUD to sponsor GSMA FASG #4

The GSMA Fraud and Security Group (FASG) has quickly established itself as one of the premier events on the mobile security calendar. Between the 2nd and 4th February 2016, leading fraud and security experts will attend the FASG #4 meeting in Doha, Qatar.

The event will provide delegates with excellent opportunities to discuss current hot topics and to develop best practice and industry solutions to reduce the fraud and security risk exposure within the mobile communications industry. Discussions will focus around the industry’s management of fraud and security matters, analyse the risks for network operators and consumers, as well as how to mitigate risks and increase protection of mobile operator technology and infrastructure.

The delegate dinner, always a highlight of the FASG events, will be sponsored by HAUD, providing excellent networking opportunities for a growing community. HAUD’s expert team will also be available in the exhibition hall to discuss the latest developments, and how their products can improve SS7 security and maximise A2P SMS revenue for network operators.

Marko Skomersic, Chief Solutions Officer of HAUD, will be delivering a presentation on 2nd February entitled “Ring-fenced networks & level playing field”. The presentation will discuss the importance of a stable and reliable service to everyone in the A2P SMS delivery chain. The presentation will also discuss:

  • How to effectively monetise A2P SMS, as it enters its ‘golden age’
  • Whether traffic management can make grey routes a thing of the past

HAUD became an associate member of the GSMA in 2012, and regularly attends events around the world to collaborate with other members in an attempt to combat the issue of mobile fraud.
